Job Summary
Inspect, test, and monitor ski lift machinery, components, tools, and buildings to ensure safe and efficient operation. Execute scheduled maintenance on lift systems, electrical and hydraulic components, and related structures. Train in diagnosing operational problems and implementing solutions while logging all repairs on operational logs. Organize shop and work areas and remove snow from machinery in winter conditions. Inform the manager of work in progress and encountered issues. Perform duties involving climbing heights up to 65 feet, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working outdoors in constantly changing weather. This seasonal role includes a free season pass for the employee and dependents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Broad knowledge of ski lift equipment, terminology and operational procedures
- Basic knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems and their operation
- Basic knowledge of Department and State safety procedures
