Job Summary
Join Otis as a Lift Installation Engineer, focusing on the safe installation of elevator units while ensuring quality and efficiency. Responsibilities include conducting pre and post-installation inspections, liaising with customers, and adhering to all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines. Candidates must have knowledge of elevator equipment, be qualified to NVQ3 level, hold a driver's license, and possess at least 6 months of relevant experience. Strong electrical and mechanical skills, as well as an ability to read plans and perform calculations, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of elevator equipment
- Ability to apply elevator engineering principles to installation
- Qualified to install elevators to NVQ3 level
- Driver's license
- At least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators
- Good electrical and mechanical skills
- Comfortable with plan reading and calculations
- Appetite for technical products and new technologies
- Appreciation for manual trades
