Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and oversee crane, rigging, hoisting, and heavy lifting operations across DFW Metroplex underground utility projects. Develop, review, and approve standard and critical lift plans, while evaluating jobsite conditions including ground stability and crane positioning. Conduct pre-lift meetings, verify rigging equipment, and monitor operations to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA requirements. Provide leadership to crane crews and stop operations when unsafe conditions arise. Requires 10+ years of crane experience, NCCCO Lift Director certification, and ability to travel.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of crane and rigging experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Lift Director, Rigging Supervisor, or in a comparable supervisory role
- NCCCO Lift Director Certification required
- Strong knowledge of crane operations, rigging practices, lift planning, and load charts
- Experience with mobile and/or crawler cranes
- Strong knowledge of OSHA crane and rigging requirements
- Ability to read and interpret lift plans, load charts, and technical documentation
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability and willingness to travel to project locations as needed
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment screenings
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in underground utilities, heavy civil, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction preferred
- Experience with Liebherr, Manitowoc, Link-Belt, or comparable crane equipment preferred
