Job Summary
Lift Director on Holder Construction's Safety team for a project in Indianapolis, IN. Lead and manage safety efforts on large-scale, mission-critical projects by coordinating with project superintendents, project managers, and client safety representatives to implement the company’s safety culture; oversee hazardous energy control, crane lifts, on-site safety programs, and insurance coordination; mentor trade partners; coordinate on-site training and wellness initiatives; ensure OSHA compliance and robust safety practices across complex construction activities.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction safety experience
- Formal safety training and competency in hazardous energy control, LOTO, scaffolding, crane management, steel erection, emergency response, fall management, excavation and confined space, rigging, hazardous waste, and erosion control
- Ability to identify and correct safety deficiencies in the field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other technology tools supporting safety efforts
