Job Summary
Join our team as a Lifestyles Associate focusing on developing, planning, and implementing social, recreational, spiritual, and educational activities for residents. The role requires encouraging participation in activities, assisting with organized events, and counseling residents monthly. Responsibilities include maintaining activity supplies, coordinating transportation, and recruiting volunteers. Ideal candidates should possess skills in recreation and communication, have a high school diploma, and be able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) required.
- Completion of required training and certification requirements of Buckner and governing authorities.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient working knowledge in recreation, creative arts, crafts, and music.
- Ability to evaluate and assign volunteers to appropriate tasks.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, guests, coworkers, and the public.
