Job Summary
Lead and support planning, scheduling, and coordination of resident activities to enhance physical, mental, and social well-being; assist in implementing life enrichment programs and events; facilitate staff presentation of activity programs; and provide driving support for shuttle transportation. Key duties include developing monthly calendars, coordinating program content and materials, tracking participation, communicating updates to Health and Wellness staff, leading daily resident activities, conducting assessments to tailor activities, and training staff on activity-related programs; requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work with seniors, including driving residents to outings and events.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Must possess current and valid driver’s license
- Must possess personal driving record
- Willingness to be available for emergencies regarding the community
- Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate resident activities
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
