Job Summary
Plan and deliver a vibrant programme of activities that enrich daily life for residents, including leading group sessions and one-to-one activities, accompanying residents on weekly trips, and developing new activity ideas based on residents' interests. Requires experience with person-centred support, excellent communication and teamwork, organizational and IT skills, and the ability to manage multiple activities in a care-home setting. Part-time role (16 hours/week) based in Maidstone, UK, offering a supportive, compassionate environment and opportunities to run crafts, music sessions, outings, and events, with potential for NVQ qualification progression.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with people in a person-centred way
- Willingness to learn and work towards an S/NVQ qualification if not already achieved
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and support people from diverse backgrounds
- Confidence with practical day-to-day tasks involved in activity delivery
