Job Summary
Support children and young people in out-of-home care and Child Safety placements within a trauma-informed care framework. Provide personal care, medication administration, and daily living support; assist with transport, education, budgeting, cooking, and community participation; collaborate with therapists and multidisciplinary teams; maintain accurate case notes and medication records; promote emotional wellbeing, healthy routines, and positive behavioral support; use PODD and other communication tools to support engagement and safety across residential and community-based youth programs.
Required Qualifications
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to complete mandatory Child Safety and Youth Support training
