Job Summary
Conduct whole person care utilizing Lifestyle Medicine to provide preventative care and treat chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease through diet, exercise, mindfulness, and stress reduction. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including NPs, dietitians, and health coaches to implement Blue Zone nutrition coaching, supervised exercise, chiropractic care, and red light therapy aimed at reducing long-term medication needs. Proactively teach community wellbeing to limit chronic disease progression while serving Lake County through Adventist Health Clear Lake's network of rural health clinics.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE
- California licensed
- meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards
- receive all required vaccinations, including, but not limited to, measles, mumps, flu (based on the seasonal availability of the flu vaccine typically during October-March each year), COVID-19 vaccine (required in CA, HI and OR) etc.
