Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and implement programs, classes, and special community-wide events that promote a healthy, active lifestyle. Develop and manage the Activities budget, acting as the primary point of contact for member social events including order creation, marketing, invitations, and onsite representation. Host seminars on wellness, finance, and history while creating and distributing resident correspondence like newsletters and flyers. Maintain the membership database, track participation metrics, and manage the website and social media content. Welcome new residents through orientation and assist the sales team by sharing community activity energy. Network with external organizations to build an effective volunteer program. Work nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure regular attendance and consistent delivery of high-quality programs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work on nights, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and reliable attendance
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in coordinating and promoting recreational activities and programs, volunteer programs, and/or fund-raising events
- Must be able to organize, participate, and direct in-community event set-ups
Desired Qualifications
- A degree in recreation, hospitality, sales or communication field
- Practical experience in planning charitable events or company social calendars
- Prior experience with private club residential community
