Job Summary

Develop new programs and coordinate activities for residents supporting the SUN® program, aligning with the budget and resident interests. Plan, organize, lead, instruct, and supervise residents in crafts, games, sports, and recreational events. Create marketing materials including calendars, fliers, and newsletters to announce upcoming programs and communicate with residents via event calendars. Monitor supplies, order materials as needed, and arrange refreshments for activities. Transport residents to and from appointments and activities while operating and maintaining the company vehicle safely. Document resident activity and personal work activity through written notes. Requires a Bachelor's degree or applicable experience, Microsoft proficiency, and three years of driving experience. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with weekend and evening availability as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or applicable work experience
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in event planning
  • preferably residential property management
  • in active/independent adult (55+) market
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Canva
  • A minimum of three (3) years driving experience
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle
  • Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level
  • Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to solve problems involving residents and challenging situations
  • Must be available for weekends and evenings as needed for resident activities
