Job Summary
We seek a compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator for our assisted living residents, including those with Alzheimer's disease or dementia. Responsibilities include coordinating recreational programs, planning excursions, and encouraging resident engagement. The ideal candidate has experience with senior populations, recreational activities, and demonstrates creativity and strong interpersonal skills. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for additional education in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- One year’s prior experience working with a senior population
- At least 6 months of Recreation activity experience (art therapy, music therapy) or event leadership experience
- Outgoing and warm personality
- Ability to create engaging programs
- Dependable and able to supervise activities and special events
- Creative talents in art, music, dance, or similar fields
- Good listening and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead classes and instructional sessions
