Job Summary
Plan and oversee a comprehensive activities and wellness program for Healthcare residents, delivering engaging group, individual, and holiday programming tailored to their interests. Organize community outings, scenic rides, and special events while managing program supplies, inventory, and monthly budget spending. Welcome and orient new residents and families, communicate activities through weekly calendars and personal invitations, and complete required documentation including assessments, care plans, and participation records. Drive the community bus for outings and serve as backup driver when needed. Collaborate with all departments to support community events, compliance, and resident needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Human Services, Social Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or related healthcare field
- National Certification as an Activity Professional or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
- Minimum 2 years of experience in activity programming within a Senior Living or Health Care setting
- Valid South Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record
