Job Summary
Conduct planned activities and transport residents to medical appointments, shopping, and social events. Encourage resident participation in arts and crafts, games, and movies to maintain their fullest potential. Assist the Lifestyle Director with documenting and developing community programs while cultivating leisure time. Maintain safety and compliance by obtaining criminal record clearance, passing health screenings, and securing current basic first aid certification within 30 days of hire. Required Qualifications
- Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director
- Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents' fullest potential through planned activities
- Assist with documenting and developing programs
- Assist with the Community's arts and crafts activities
- Transport residents safely to and from various locations such as: medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events
- Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc
- Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
- Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
- Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire
