Job Summary
Lifestyle Assistant at St Vincent’s Care Services Carina. Provide compassionate, person-centered support to residents, helping to create a welcoming, professional care experience. Role involves developing and delivering leisure programs, including for dementia clients, with a focus on wellbeing and resident rights. Requires Certificate III or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or diversional therapy, strong customer service and communication skills, ability to follow care plans, and adherence to checks (NCCHC; possible NDIS screening). Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or diversional therapy is essential
- Experience in an aged care facility, developing Leisure programs including working with dementia clients
- NCCHC (Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check) – if you already have it and it is under 6 months old
- NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role
