Job Summary
Conduct behavioral health consultations, screenings, and evaluations for clients across the lifespan within a multidisciplinary team. Develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate group therapy, and triage clinical emergencies while documenting all client interactions in compliance with agency policy. Collaborate with primary care providers, family members, and community partners to coordinate referrals and ensure medical treatment compliance. Adhere to mandated reporting for child abuse, maintain confidentiality, and attend required supervision and treatment team meetings. Meet direct service productivity goals and utilize evidence-based psychotherapy modalities including individual, group, and family sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related license eligible field or a doctoral degree in Psychology
- Licensed or license eligible LPCA, LMFTA, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist
- If you are a MSW, a LMSW (permit or license) or LCSW will be required to begin employment
- Knowledge of psychopathology
- Knowledge of primary modalities of psychotherapy, including individual, group and family
- Knowledge of internal and external levels of care, referral processes and resources
- Knowledge of the use of psychotropic medications
- Knowledge of program/department/agency goals and target outcomes
- Knowledge of agency policy
- Knowledge of licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards
- Knowledge of the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served
- Knowledge of culture
- Knowledge of cultural traditions, values, and beliefs
