Job Summary

Conduct behavioral health consultations, screenings, and evaluations for children and adults across the lifespan in an integrated outpatient setting. Formulate diagnoses using DSM criteria, develop individualized treatment plans, and facilitate group therapy sessions while correctly triaging clinical emergencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, primary care providers, and community services to ensure client compliance and appropriate referrals. Document all clinical interactions, attend treatment planning meetings, and adhere to data collection protocols. Provide culturally competent care and report mandated child abuse or neglect.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related license eligible field or a doctoral degree in Psychology
  • Licensed or license eligible LPCA, LMFTA, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist
  • If you are a MSW, a LMSW (permit or license) or LCSW will be required to begin employment
  • Knowledge of psychopathology
  • Knowledge of primary modalities of psychotherapy, including individual, group and family
  • Knowledge of internal and external levels of care, referral processes and resources
  • Knowledge of the use of psychotropic medications
  • Knowledge of program/department/agency goals and target outcomes
  • Knowledge of agency policy
  • Knowledge of licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards
  • Knowledge of the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served
  • Knowledge of appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture
