Job Summary
Liferay Product Manager for Youth Villages IT team to manage the lifecycle of the proprietary clinical platform GuideTree, overseeing Liferay environments, data feeds, and integrations; translate business needs into features and stories for a cross-functional software development team (external vendor); maintain the product roadmap, support analytics and end-user training, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure solutions align with clinical and operational data needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field (strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of product management or similarly related experience in lieu of degree (acceptable)
- 3+ years of experience working in Information Technology (required)
- Experience managing digital experience or horizontal portal platform, preferably on Liferay DXP (required)
- Understanding of Liferay DXP platform, including Liferay best practices and functionality (strong plus)
- Experience using Liferay Analytics (strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (preferred)
- JAVA programming experience (preferred)
- Experience with non-profits (strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
