Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist on the LifeLine team providing quality respiratory care to patients across ages from neonate to adolescent, performing routine and complex procedures with a wide range of equipment, collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team, ensuring care meets hospital and regulatory standards, and maintaining up-to-date skills and knowledge for safe, effective respiratory care; includes sign-on bonus and opportunities for growth, tuition assistance, diverse environment, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy required (BS preferred)
- Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NRBC)
- Graduate of an RRT program approved by CoARC
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Current PALS certification (AHA) or within 120-day orientation period
- Current NRP certification for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Minimum of five years’ clinical experience for Lifeline positions
- Minimum of 2000 hours caring for Level II or III neonatal patients (Florida Rule 64J-1.006)
