Job Summary
Provide quality respiratory care to patients using a wide variety of techniques and equipment, including routine and complex procedures. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient outcomes meet high standards of care established by the hospital, department, and regulatory agencies. Maintain all skills and knowledge necessary to deliver safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate respiratory care to neonates through adolescents. This role requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, current Florida licensure, and RRT credentialing. Minimum five years of clinical experience and 2000 hours caring for Level II or III neonatal patients are required. Salary ranges from $30.64 to $49.02 per hour. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapist
- Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC)
- Must be a graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy Program approved by the Commission of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Minimum of five years' experience in a clinical setting
- Minimum of 2000 hours caring for Level II or III neonatal patients as defined by Florida Rule 64J-1.006
