Job Summary
Enroll eligible customers for Lifeline SIM service using their existing phone and free SIM cards or device upgrades. Conduct outreach in high-traffic community areas and organized events to explain program benefits and maintain accurate daily records. Verify documents and eligibility through secure, compliant systems while assisting customers with SIM activation, device setup, and troubleshooting. Meet or exceed daily and weekly enrollment goals by promoting optional device upgrades and premium phone offers. This independent contractor role offers competitive performance-based compensation, flexible hours, and bi-weekly pay for those committed to ethical practices and local community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in customer service, sales, or similar roles
- Knowledgeable about the Lifeline and the eligibility criteria
- Previous experience in field sales, community outreach, or customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Self-motivated
- Goal-driven
- Organized
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work locally
- Eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor
