Job Summary
Enroll eligible customers for free Lifeline SIM service using their existing devices and conduct outreach at high-traffic community areas and organized events. Verify documents and eligibility through secure systems while explaining program benefits and maintaining accurate daily records. Assist customers with SIM activation, device setup, troubleshooting, and optional upgrades to meet or exceed daily and weekly enrollment goals. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours and performance-based compensation, allowing you to work autonomously within your local community to help families stay connected.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work locally
- Knowledgeable about the Lifeline and the eligibility criteria
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Comfortable with digital enrollment tools
- Self-motivated
- Goal-driven
- Organized
- Committed to ethical practices and compliance with program and regulatory guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced education or relevant certification
- Experience in customer service, sales, or similar roles
