Job Summary
The Lifeguard position monitors pool and deck to ensure patron safety, enforces pool rules, and can perform lifeguard rescues, first aid, and CPR as needed. Duties include scanning a designated area, communicating rules to patrons, performing rescues, handling emergencies (drowning, injuries, medical events), and supporting team operations. The role requires lifeguard certification and related first aid/CPR credentials, ability to work in a team, and willingness to perform maintenance, cashiering, and other duties as assigned. Adherence to safety protocols and readiness for evening/weekend trainings is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Lifeguard certification
- First aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
- Criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance
- Red Cross lifeguard certification, first aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
