Job Summary
Maintain a safe pool environment by testing chlorine and pH levels, ensuring swimmers adhere to posted rules, and monitoring activity in the water and on deck. Respond appropriately to emergency situations and assist instructors as needed while helping maintain a tidy pool deck by removing clutter. Attend meetings as requested by the Aquatics Director and uphold organizational policies. Requires a current Lifeguard Certificate, CPR and First Aid Certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
- Must Have Current Lifeguard Certificate
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds
