Job Summary
Provide lifeguard safety coverage at Wet'n'Wild Hawaii attractions in Kapolei; enforce guest rules, monitor zones, respond to distressed swimmers, perform daily safety checks, maintain rescue equipment, and complete incident reports; training provided to new lifeguards; duties include enforcing attraction requirements, guarding areas, and supporting safe operation of rides, pools, and interactive play structures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old with a Minor's work permit, if applicable.
- Able to read and comprehend documents such as instructions, safety rules and procedural manuals.
- Ability to effectively and thoroughly give verbal instructions to guests.
- Must have excellent customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Lift, pull and/or push up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Swim 50 meters - swim a depth of 5 feet and a distance of 10 feet under water to retrieve a 10-pound brick.
- Sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work all shifts which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
- Able to work in all inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to work with a diversified work force.
