Job Summary
Lifeguard at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa (Orlando, FL) – part-time role with paid training and certification provided. Responsibilities include maintaining constant surveillance of pool/water-park areas, rendering emergency care and contacting EMS when needed, maintaining cleanliness, documenting incidents with detailed activity reports, attending in-service training, and supporting teammates. Must be an expert swimmer in excellent physical condition, capable of reacting quickly in emergencies, with preferred certifications in ARC Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED. Must pass background check and drug test, and be eligible to work in the United States. Required Qualifications
- Must be an expert swimmer
- Be in excellent physical condition
- Able to react quickly in emergency situations
- Preferred certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with moves up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to work in wet, humid, outdoor conditions and extreme heat/sun
