Job Summary
Monitor pools and water attractions to ensure guest safety while enforcing park rules and promoting a welcoming environment. Respond immediately to emergencies, perform water rescues, and administer first aid and CPR when necessary. Provide outstanding guest service by answering questions and assisting visitors throughout the facility. Participate in required training, safety drills, and certification programs while maintaining a clean, organized workspace aligned with OSHA guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist in lifting or moving over 100 pounds
- Ability to work in wet, humid, outdoor environments and prolonged sun and heat exposure
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug test
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must uphold Westgate Resorts' standards of professionalism, integrity, safety, and guest service
Desired Qualifications
- American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
