Job Summary
Seasonal Lifeguard position at The Bristal Assisted Living pool to maintain a safe recreational and therapeutic environment for residents; responsibilities include supervising outdoor pool, assisting residents in getting in and out of the pool, and potentially assisting with daily activities in the recreation department when the pool is closed or during inclement weather; openings on Sundays and Mondays 9am–5pm; ideal candidate will hold an unexpired New York lifeguard license and be personable, cheerful, and reliable; positions available as part-time or full-time during the summer season.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an unexpired license to lifeguard in the state of New York
- Be a personable, outgoing, caring, cheerful and fun individual
- Ability to create positive interactions with the residents
- Dependable, reliable and flexible to help out in other areas as needed
