Job Summary
Monitor pool areas to ensure the safety of all swimmers and enforce pool rules and regulations. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid as needed while assisting with maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role requires current lifeguard certification from the Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent, along with CPR and First Aid certification. Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. Previous lifeguard experience is preferred but not required. Hours range from 10 to 30 per week at a rate of $15 to $16 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current lifeguard certification (Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent)
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
