Job Summary
Scan the pool deck and maintain a safe, welcoming environment while enforcing all YMCA pool rules. Respond to pool emergencies and perform first-aid as needed, or teach swimming lessons to YMCA standards. Communicate with supervisors, staff, members, and guests in a concise, positive manner. This part-time hourly role is available at the Houser branch in Onalaska, WI. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and hold Lifeguard Certification and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification if assigned to lifeguard duties. Enjoy flexible hours, free adult Y membership, and a 403(b) retirement plan.
