Job Summary
Provide a safe and engaging pool environment in the Club’s facility. Follow established Red Cross protocol and guidelines; assist with swim lessons and pool safety instruction when appropriate; maintain Massachusetts state regulations for lifeguard/swimmer ratio; ensure the safety of all members at all times. Must be able to pass the lifeguard written test and rescue scenarios as part of the application process, have reliable transportation, and be available 10am-6pm, Monday-Friday during the summer schedule (June 22–August 14). All applicants will undergo CORI and national background checks. 40 hours per week, seasonal, 10am–6pm, Monday–Friday. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- American Red Cross lifeguard certification; CPR/AED and First Aid certified
- Prior lifeguard, swim team, or swim lesson experience preferred
