Job Summary
Oversee the safety of all swimmers and people in the aquatic area while maintaining a rescue-ready posture at all times during shift. Attend mandatory in-service trainings and uphold a positive attitude as a team player. Maintain current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification and BLS (CPR) and First Aid credentials, or express willingness to be trained. Available for weekday evenings and weekends. Starting wage is $12.00, commensurate with experience. Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 15 years of age
- Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding
- Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid

- If not certified, willingness to be trained
