Job Summary
Part-time Lifeguard responsible for maintaining pool safety and supervising members/guests in pools and surrounding areas. Duties include safe supervision, life-saving measures as needed, assisting with pool/equipment maintenance, proficiency with core business software as related to duties, working toward departmental/organizational goals, flexibility with center hours and schedules, meeting safety requirements and certifications, and communicating with EMS. HIPAA training and related training expected. Must hold current Lifeguard certification; CPR/AED required within 90 days; Water Safety Instructor certification preferred; 2 years part-time lifeguard experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard certification from a nationally recognized organization required.
- Minimum 2 years of part time experience as a lifeguard preferred.
- Water Safety Instructor certification is preferred.
- CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness)
- Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.
