Job Summary
Monitor swimmers and recreational areas continuously, enforcing safety rules and responding promptly to emergencies. Administer first aid and CPR when required, coordinate with emergency services, and report equipment malfunctions or facility issues immediately. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure pool and facility safety, while educating guests on proper pool use and safety guidelines. Provide friendly, professional service by addressing guest questions and concerns in a courteous manner. Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and continuing education. Maintain clear communication with staff and adhere to all safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
- Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, and stretch while handling merchandise, stocking, or assisting customers
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of Microsoft office operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and thorough
- Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests
- Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly manner while maintaining a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm in uncomfortable conflicts
- Ability to work as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred
- Previous in-person customer experience preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Knowledge of retail operations
