Job Summary
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of members, guests, and staff in and around the pool during operating hours and events. Key responsibilities include monitoring the pool, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining cleanliness of the pool area. Required qualifications include ASCA or USA swimming certification and CPR, first aid, and AED certification. Excellent communication skills are essential. Flexible work schedule includes weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be ASCA or USA swimming certified
- Certification in CPR, first aid, and AED within the last 6 months
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, members, and guests
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 6 months of experience coaching swimmers of various ages and skill levels
