Job Summary
Lifeguard monitors pool activity, performs rescues as needed, Enforces safe pool practices, and provides instruction to participants while maintaining a clean pool environment. Works on a flexible, optional/as-needed schedule with 3–5.5 hour shifts and occasional Saturday rotations; participates in team activities and supports TriHealth values of respect, service, and safety.
Required Qualifications
- American Red Cross lifeguard certification
- YMCA lifeguard or other certifications may be accepted
- First Aid
- CPR
- AED
- At least 2 years High School Education
- Must be at least age 16+ (16-17 with work permit)
- Knowledge and demonstration of basic rescue technique
- Excellent swimming skills including ability to swim 300 meters
- Experience as lifeguard preferred or newly certified/interested
