Lifeguard

Monitor and surveil all pool activity within the six-lane indoor facility, maintaining high alertness while walking the deck to ensure swimmer safety and responding immediately to emergencies. Enforce pool policies and regulations to safeguard member conduct, while optionally instructing swim lessons or adult aqua fitness classes. Manage daily operations by opening and closing the pool and locker rooms, cleaning the area, and testing water quality to report imbalances. Deliver excellent customer service through greetings and assistance, communicate potential hazards to supervisors, and report all concerns to the Aquatics Coordinator. Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
