Job Summary
Monitor state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor recreational and lap pools, oversee water slides, and greet members while ensuring safety awareness. Rescue swimmers in danger, administer first aid, and keep the pool deck clean and orderly. Assist with aquatics events such as "Dive in Movies" and "Poolapalooza." This role requires StarGuard Elite certification, BLS CPR, and First Aid training, along with the ability to swim 300 yards and retrieve heavy objects from the pool bottom. Required Qualifications
- Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification
- BLS CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to tread water for 1 minute
- Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
- Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs
