Lifeguard I at a municipal swimming facility in Oklahoma City, responsible for monitoring swimmers, enforcing rules, preventing hazards, rescuing swimmers in distress, and providing emergency care including CPR and First Aid. Required Qualifications
- Lifeguard Certification as issued by the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department
- Basic First Aid

Additional Requirements
- At least 16 years of age at time of application submission
- Under 18 at application submission must bring Authorization for Background and Drug Test for Minors signed by parent/guardian
- Must pass an initial swim test within seven business days of conditional offer
- Must complete Lifeguard Certification, Basic First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED Module within first month of assuming position
