Job Summary
Lifeguards at Hershey Lodge are responsible for ensuring the safety of pool guests and providing professional assistance. Key responsibilities include enforcing swimming pool rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the work area. Candidates must be physically fit, able to swim, and complete required training.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must complete the Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program
- Must be able to swim 100 yards
- Must be able to tread water without arms for 1 minute
- Must have normal vision (20/25 or corrected)
- Must work weekends and holidays
- Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Must speak, write, and understand English
Desired Qualifications
- Prior lifeguarding experience
- Ability to handle stressful working conditions
- Good physical condition
- Ability to interact positively with guests
