Job Summary
As a part-time lifeguard at Hershey Lodge, you will ensure the safety of guests at the pool while providing courteous and professional assistance. This role involves monitoring swimming and attraction safety, participating in weekly training, and maintaining a safe environment. An ideal candidate should be at least 16 years old, possess swimming skills, and be ready to handle emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older on the date of applying.
- Must attend and complete the Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program.
- Ability to swim 100 yards using front crawl or breaststroke without resting.
- Ability to safely exit pool without use of stairs, ladders, or zero depth.
- Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with others.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible hours including days, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week.
