Job Summary
Ensure pool patron safety in the water and on the deck by practicing preventative lifeguarding during Open Swim hours. Enforce pool and club rules, foster positive member relations, and perform emergency procedures. Maintain pool cleanliness and chemical levels by testing and recording levels, cleaning the pool with a manual vacuum, and ensuring the deck and equipment remain orderly. This role requires customer service experience and the ability to pass Aquatics lifeguard training, including CPR and AED certification. Part-time hourly pay includes a free The Alaska Club membership and advancement opportunities. Shift availability is discussed at the interview.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- capable of sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs and carrying loads up to 50lbs
- ability to pass Aquatics lifeguard training
- Must hold or ability to obtain CPR and AED certification
