Lifeguard

Conduct vigilant scanning above and below the water surface and across the pool deck to ensure patron safety. Enforce aquatic center policies and respond efficiently to all emergency situations as the first responder. Briefly inspect facilities to report unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the Director. Attend in-service trainings and meetings to refine lifesaving skills while maintaining current certifications. Respond to participant questions and complete hourly participant usage counts. Assist in event setup and teardown, and complete all required reports in the absence of a Head Lifeguard.
