Job Summary
The Lifeguard is responsible for monitoring pool activities, performing rescues, administering first aid, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Duties include inspecting facilities, maintaining emergency equipment, testing water quality, and providing information on pool operations. Candidates must possess a valid Lifeguard Certification and have at least two years of experience, particularly with the Intellectually/Developmentally Disabled. Physical demands include swimming and lifting, with exposure to outdoor conditions and aquatic environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Valid Lifeguard Certification
- At least 2 years of previous lifeguard experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Intellectually/Developmentally Disabled

- Preference given to those that have previously worked with the Intellectually/Developmentally Disabled
