Job Summary
Lifeguard at Commonpoint Queens responsible for supervising swimming activities and learn-to-swim lessons per ARC standards, enforcing pool rules, maintaining pool deck safety and cleanliness, monitoring chlorine and pH levels hourly, and communicating pool issues to the Director of Aquatics. Role includes performing CPR/lifesaving when needed, disposing of debris, checking supplies, adjusting lane lines, locking pool and locker room doors at night, and representing the organization positively to patrons. Must hold current lifeguard certification and be able to work independently while engaging with the public.
