Job Summary
Lifeguard responsible for waterfront safety during swimming and boating activities at Camp Is-Sho-Da. Work with fellow lifeguards and the Aquatics Director to supervise campers and staff, operate waterfront facilities/equipment, and create engaging outdoor activities in a day camp setting with an occasional overnight experience. Requires lifeguard certification with waterfront skills; boating safety certification or willingness to obtain; ability to engage positively with youth ages 7–17; at least 18 years old by July 27, 2026; prior youth-focused work preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current lifeguard certification with waterfront skills
- Boating instructor certification or GSNENY Small Craft Safety course, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to interact positively with youth ages 7 to 17
