Job Summary
Suntree Country Club is seeking a Lifeguard/Camp Counselor for the Summer Season starting June 1st, responsible for ensuring swimmer safety, administering first aid when necessary, and supervising camp activities. Key responsibilities include enforcing safety and conduct rules, monitoring pool activities, leading recreational activities like arts and crafts, and maintaining cleanliness around the pool area. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, hold required certifications, be physically fit, and possess swimming skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Certifications in lifeguard training, CPR, AED, and first aid from the American Red Cross or equivalent agency
- Skilled swimmer
- Physically able to rescue someone drowning or injured
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with children preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with all rules and regulations as stated in the Employee Handbook
- Willing to adhere to policies/procedures of the Club's ongoing Safety Committee
