Job Summary
The Lifeguard is responsible for monitoring activities in swimming areas, enforcing aquatic facility rules, and responding to emergencies while administering first aid or CPR as needed. Responsibilities include inspecting the pool area for safety, completing reports, and providing excellent customer service. Required qualifications include strong interpersonal skills, swimming proficiency, and the ability to remain alert for long periods. Candidates must possess or acquire necessary certifications within specified timeframes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Current Ellis & Associates ILTP Certification
- Strong swimming skills and physical stamina
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Multi-lingual skills
- Prior lifeguard and customer service experience
Additional Requirements
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Obtain certification in Ellis Assoc LG within 1ST 30 days of employment
- Obtain Ellis & Associates instructor and or YSL instructor within 12 months of employment
