Job Summary
Monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers while providing immediate responses to emergency situations. Maintain a clean and safe pool environment through vigilant surveillance and rescue techniques. Hold current Lifeguarding and First Aid certifications, including CPR/AED, and adhere to facility rules and policies. Work part-time, 24-28 hours per week, with varying schedules including evenings and weekends. Baptist Senior Family, a U.S. News & World Report Elite Facility, offers this role within its retirement community in Scott Township.
Required Qualifications
- Current certifications in Lifeguarding and First Aid
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Ability to get certified before hire date
- Thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques
- Knowledge of facility characteristics
- Knowledge of rules, policies, and procedures
