Job Summary
Monitor pools, hot/cold plunges, and wet areas to ensure guest safety while maintaining constant visual surveillance and intervening on unsafe activity. Squeegee floors regularly to keep walkways dry and slip-free, then inspect equipment for hazards and assist with water testing as directed. Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies, enforce facility rules professionally, and provide warm customer service regarding policies. Set up loungers and towels to maintain a polished environment, assist with opening/closing duties, and perform basic first aid until medical help arrives. This role requires a valid Lifeguarding certification and CPR/AED training, with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Valid CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid
- Valid Lifeguarding (Deep Water) or Shallow Water Lifeguarding certification not expiring within two months
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Pool Operator certificate
